Al Khalij Commercial Bank (Al Khaliji) has held its open day at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
“The turnout of Qatari nationals was remarkably high (at the event) as job seekers were given the chance to look for the newest work opportunities in the banking sector,” according to a statement from the bank.
Held under the patronage of HE the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Dr Abdullah Saleh Mubarak al-Khulaifi, and in the presence of Al Khaliji Group CEO Fahad al-Khalifa, the event offered the latest positions for Qataris and opportunities to join Al Khaliji’s staff.
The occasion served as a platform for knowledge exchange where job seekers were able to ask their questions and get direct answers from Al Khaliji experts.
This event was in line with Al Khaliji’s Qatarisation strategy. “The bank is committed to recruiting, training, developing Qatari nationals and creating a strongly qualified and professional Qatari workforce to support the growth in the banking sector. Today, the bank’s focus on localising talents has culminated in 100% Qatarisation across its branch managers,” the statement noted.
