‘Energy World - Qatar 2015,’ an interactive educational experience taking people of all ages on a journey into Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), opens today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre next to City Center Mall at 5pm.
Brought to Qatar by long-term partners Qatar Petroleum and Qatar Shell, in association with the Qatar Tourism Authority, the event will run for 10 days from November 19 to 28 with free tickets available by registering online at www.energyworldqatar.com.
Energy World - Qatar features a lively mix of physical and digital exhibits, workshops and science shows encouraging everyone to ‘explore, make and learn.’ It also aims to inspire students in Qatar who want to learn more and pursue STEM subjects in higher education.
Visitors, parents, students and children will enjoy a hands-on experience at the event, creating a greater awareness of energy and its challenges. It will also stimulate creative thinking and innovation among the participants to find solutions to meet those challenges.
Energy World – Qatar challenges visitors with fun STEM-themed activities and innovative questions along an interactive journey comprising various digital exhibits. Upon answering the final question, visitors will step up to the screen to find out what type of innovator they are - designer, engineer, connector, inventor or adventurer.
The event is open from 5pm to 10pm starting today to Thursday; 2pm to 10pm on Fridays and 10am to 10pm on Saturdays.
