Emir issues law regulating tenders and auctions

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued Law No. 24 of 2015 on the issuance of the law regulating tenders and auctions.

Emir issues two decrees

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued the following two decrees yesterday:
1. Decree No 50 of 2015 approving accession to the International Convention on Load Lines of 1966.
2. Decree No 51 of 2015 approving accession to the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea of 1972.

Agreement ratified

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued a ratification document approving a draft agreement on air transport between the governments of Qatar and Senegal, which was signed in Doha on March 16, 2015.

Emir approves Cabinet decisions
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani approved the Cabinet’s decisions No 36, 37, 38, 39 and 40 of 2015 on expropriating some real estate for the public good.

Emir greets Sultan Qaboos
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani sent cables of congratulations to Sultan Qaboos of Oman on his country’s National Day.

Independence Day greetings
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani sent  cables of congratulations to King Mohammed of Morocco on his country’s Independence Day.  
HH the Emir, HH the Deputy Emir and HE the Prime Minister also sent cables of congratulations to Latvian President Raymond Vejonis on his country’s National Day.

Qatar-France ties reviewed
Qatar’s Minister of Transport Dr Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti met French Minister of State for Transport Alain Vidalies in Paris yesterday.  Talks dealt with ways of bolstering bilateral relations in the field of transport.
