Woqod opened its latest service station at Bin Derham, which is one of the largest fuel stations in the country.
The four-lane station can fuel some 16 vehicles at a time and will operate round-the-clock. In addition to fuel, the Woqod facility will also sell LPG cylinders. It also has a Sidra convenience store with a fast-food counter and small indoor seating area.
The opening of the new fuel dispensing facility has come as a big relief to motorists in the city as long queues of vehicles waiting for refuelling are a common sight across Doha.
Woqod chairman Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani and other senior officials were present at the opening event.
