HE the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning Sheikh Abdul rahman bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday issued a ministerial decision to form a working group in charge of the ministry’s Development and Innovation Award.
The move aims to provide a work environment based on the development and innovation and to encourage the ministry’s staff to provide creative ideas and development projects aimed at developing the society and the services provided by the ministry.
The working group will include Jaber Abdullah al-Attiyah, Director of Human Resources as president, Khalaf Ajlan Anzi as vice-president, and Ibrahim Abbas, Director of Planning Infrastructure, Manaf Ahmed al-Sada, Director of the Centre for Geographic Information Systems, Faikah Ashkanani, Director of Quality and Dr Ahmad Abu Mustafa Legal Adviser in the Minister’s Office as members.
The decision stipulates that the working group shall set the criteria for evaluating the projects submitted for this award and submit a bi-monthly report to the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning.
