Alfardan Group honoured by ITMA event organisers

Alfardan Group - Automotive Operations recently concluded its participation, as gold sponsor, in the 24th World Congress of the International Traffic Medicine Association (ITMA) in Doha.
Alfardan Automobiles and Alfardan Premier Motors represented Alfardan Group at the congress, showcasing the conglomerate’s “commitment to initiatives that aim to make a positive impact on society and help ensure the safety of the people”, according to a statement.
In line with its presence at the event, Alfardan Group was presented with a certificate of appreciation by the organisers for its contribution, sponsorship and support of the conference.
The award was received by Fahad Alfardan, executive director of Alfardan Group, at a gala dinner held as part of the conference’s activities. The certificate of appreciation was presented to Alfardan Group by Brig. Mohamed Abdullah al-Maliki, secretary of the National Traffic Safety Committee and chairman of the organising committee.
Commenting on the award, Fahad Alfardan said: “We would like to thank the organisers of the event for presenting us with this certificate of appreciation. It is an honour to be included in initiatives that create a positive impact in society.”
As part of its participation in the congress, Alfardan Automobiles showcased the BMW 740Li model while Alfardan Premier Motors displayed the Jaguar XJ - two of the latest models from the luxury brands distributed by the automotive subsidiaries.
Delegates to the congress included notable medical doctors, physiologists, psychologists, traffic safety experts, vehicle designers and manufacturers, engineers, policymakers, police officers and insurance experts from all over the world.
Omar Alfardan, president and CEO of Alfardan Group, said: “The success of our company is built on the values and traditions that instilled upon us the importance of social responsibility. It is for this reason that we are dedicated to playing an active role in programmes such as the ITMA Congress.”
