Doha
There are chances of rain in some parts of Qatar by Monday night, the weather office has said.
Low pressure had started affecting northern Saudi Arabia and it was expected to reach Qatar by Monday evening, according to information available on the Qatar Met department's Twitter page on Sunday evening.
Moderate temperatures are likely during the day, along with partly cloudy to cloudy conditions later, according to the forecast.
Partly cloudy conditions are also expected in offshore areas, along with a chance of scattered rain.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in the country are likely to be 18C and 28C, respectively, with the forecast for Doha being 21C and 28C.
Earlier, on Saturday, the Met department had warned of unstable weather conditions - with a forecast for moderate to heavy rain - in the country from Monday night until November 26.
The country may witness thundershowers, dusty conditions and a drop in visibility during this period, according to the forecast.
This is “due to the passage of a deep low in the upper levels of the atmosphere with moist northeasterly to easterly light to moderate winds”, the report states.
The Met office urged people to remain cautious during the rain and advised them not to venture into the sea during this period. It also asked people to follow latest weather updates through the department’s official website and social media accounts.
