QFBA chief to be keynote speaker at Launch Conference

Launch, a series of associated learning events for Qatari nationals, has confirmed Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) CEO Dr Abdulaziz al-Horr as a keynote speaker at the upcoming Launch Conference.
Launch facilitates the professional development of Qatari nationals by equipping them with professional knowledge and skills, as well as cultivating responsibility, ambition and ownership for their personal career development. The second Launch Conference will be held from December 1 to 3 in Doha.  
During the event, participants will develop their social media management skills, organisational effectiveness and critical analysis, problem-solving and executive coaching skills, besides enhancing their emotional intelligence and personal strengths through networking events, according to a statement.
At the event, Dr al-Horr will join speakers and facilitators such as Ammar Mohamed, digital marketing adviser and trainer at Social Media Solutions, and founder of the Social Media Club Qatar; Daniel Mills, organisational change specialist; Hilary Rowe, senior HR partner at RasGas; Nicole Simpson, learning facilitator at Qatar Development and Consultancy Centre; Layla Saad, coach, writer and speaker at Heart Shaped Dreamers; Mohamed al-Hayder, founder of Takallum; along with Elizabeth Fleming, founder and CEO of Launch, and distinguished Qatari leaders such as Afraa al-Noaimi, director of operations at Josoor Institute.
The second Launch Conference will centre on the theme, “Mind and Motivation”, which will explore critical-thinking skills, motivating self and others as well as examining emotional intelligence and professional mindfulness.
“We are pleased to announce that Dr Abdulaziz al-Horr, the CEO of QFBA, is one of Launch’s keynote speakers,” said Fleming.
“I am honoured to be joining Launch as one of their keynote speakers, as I strongly support Launch’s message, which is to provide a fresh approach to learning for all Qatari nationals, regardless of their industry and passion,” said Dr al-Horr, who will be speaking on “Mind and Motivation” at Launch.
