Qatar’s ambassador to the United States of America Mohamed Jaham al-Kuwari highlighted Qatar’s ongoing commitment to cultural projects through the promotion of talented capabilities.
Speaking on the sidelines of a reception held at the embassy, the Qatari ambassador said Qatar hosts art works in all parts of the country for talented Qatari and world-renowned artists.
He added that art is an integral part of diplomacy, and that culture is one of the strong bridges between nations.
Ambassador al-Kuwari stressed the importance of art and cultural projects in the promotion of friendship and diplomatic relations among countries.
He highlighted the successful visit of Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra to Paris during his tenure as Qatar’s ambassador to France, in addition to other cultural and art events which were mentioned in a book called A Decade of Cultural Diplomacy.
