Lebanese competitors prepare a giant manousheh, a traditional flatbread garnished with thyme, spices, sesame and olive oil, in the town of Choueifat southeast of Beirut yesterday. The 32m-long manousheh, prepared on the occasion of Lebanon’s Independence Day with the aim of breaking a world record, surpassed one made in Saudi Arabia in 2014 that measured 15.17m.
