Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing that targeted a presidential security bus in Tunis yesterday which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed Qatar’s support to efforts being made by Tunisia to establish security and stability in the country. The statement reiterated Qatar’s solidarity with all regional and international efforts for the elimination of violence and terrorism and to drain its resources and roots. The statement also expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of those killed and wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured by this heinous crime.
