Real Madrid star Isco was sent off for kicking Barcelona’s Neymar during the 4-0 Clasico thrashing at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco was handed a two-game suspension yesterday for his wild kick on Barcelona’s Neymar that saw him sent-off in Madrid’s miserable 4-0 defeat at the weekend.
The Spanish international was on the field for less than 30 minutes having come on as a second-half substitute before taking his frustration out on Barca’s brilliant Brazilian. As a result Isco will miss Madrid’s trip to Eibar on Sunday and Getafe’s visit to the Santiago Bernabeu in a Madrid derby on December 5.

HQ evacuated after bomb threat
The headquarters of the Greek soccer federation in the Athens suburb of Goudi were evacuated yesterday after an anonymous caller said a bomb had been planted in the building.
Bomb disposal experts were called in to search the offices of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) after the newspaper Efimerida ton Syntakton received a call saying a bomb would go off at 1 p.m. (1100 GMT).
Local media reported that the police waited until 3 p.m. before sending in the team, but in the end no bomb was found.
On Tuesday, a bomb exploded outside the offices of the Greek business federation (SEV) in central Athens, causing no injuries but damaging the nearby Cypriot Embassy. Tensions have being running high among Athens’ soccer fans since last Saturday’s derby match between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos Piraeus was called off by the referee before the start because of violence in and around the stadium.
Clashes between fans and police followed, which Panathinaikos blamed on the referee’s decision. Since the weekend, another Athens club, AEK, has accused EPO of not doing enough to prevent crowd violence. (Editing by Kevin Liffey)
Rostov cancel training session in Turkey over jet downing
Russian Premier League club Rostov have cancelled plans to set up their January training camp in Turkey, Alexander Shikunov, club deputy president said yetserday. “We were planning to set up our January training camp in Turkey but decided to change this idea in connection with the latest events,” ITAR-TASS news agency quoted Shikunov as saying. Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday backed a recommendation from the foreign ministry for Russians not to visit Turkey after the shooting down of a Russian fighter jet.
