Ezdan Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of Ezdan Holding Group, has announced a furniture development plan for 7,200 housing units across 12 residential villages in Al Wakrah and Al Wukair.
The initiative falls within the framework of the company’s plan to upgrade furniture in various Ezdan villages and units as well as compounds, aiming to improve services and to meet the needs of tenants, according to a statement.
Both maintenance and customer care teams at Ezdan Real Estate Company are responsible for the supervision and implementation of the furniture development process, with the current stage involving the replacement of furniture in living rooms.
The company also plans to change the remaining furniture, in bedrooms and dining rooms, across its residential units comprising one, two and three-bedroom apartments and villas in all Ezdan compounds in Doha and beyond.
Ali al-Obaidli, CEO of Ezdan Holding Group, noted that the group launched a development plan for its real estate assets and other facilities with the aim of renovating furniture and appliances, thereby keeping up with the pace of modern housing requirements and standards.
He added that the group seeks to move into new stages of development, which include improving its housing and maintenance services in light of the increasing population in areas such as Al Wakrah and Al Wukair, where Ezdan villages house more than 70,000 tenants.
A statement from the company also said that Ezdan Real Estate is in the process of carrying out enhancement operations in a large number of its units, such as upgrading living rooms with more sophisticated and modern furniture. The new furniture provides additional space and other advantages for residents.
Ezdan Holding Group had announced a new development strategy earlier this year, covering all its buildings and facilities, including hotels and residential compounds. The group seeks to convert these buildings into sophisticated units, meeting the needs of all residents, with a focus on the environment and resource preservation.
In this context, the group recently announced the conversion of 20,000 of its housing units into water-saving units, with the ability to save up to 40% on water consumption.
