Qatar’s Ambassador to Germany Abdul Rahman bin Mohamed al-Khulaifi participated in the third Arab-German Energy Forum organised by Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin in the presence of ministers and energy experts.
Ambassador al-Khulaifi stressed the importance of Qatar’s role in the renaissance of the global economy as one of the leading countries in the world that possesses enormous reserves of gas and is becoming the largest LNG exporter in the world.
Al-Khulaifi added that gas is one of the basic materials to provide environmentally friendly clean energy.
He proposed to establish a partnership between the two sides to carry out joint projects.

HE the Speaker of the Advisory (Shura) Council Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi yesterday met the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federal Council (Senate), Ilyas Umakhanov, and the accompanying delegation.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the parliamentary relations between Qatar and Russia and means of enhancing them.
