Marzooq Al Shamlan introduces Aviator Douglas Day-Date

Marzooq Al Shamlan & Sons, the official agent for Aviator watches in Qatar, has announced the introduction of the Aviator Douglas Day-Date.
The Aviator Douglas Day-Date watch pays tribute to the Douglas DC-3 passenger aircraft.
The watch “mixes streamlined elegance with modern innovation”, with the art-deco styling and “subtle pocket watch accents” evident in both the casing and hands, according to a statement. The horizontal axe in the centre of the dial is a direct reference to the horizon cockpit instrument and serves as a reminder of the first long-distance flights operated by the DC-3.
“Form and function unite in more ways than one. An elegant curved calendar window at the top indicates the day of the week, while the one at the bottom shows the current date. The curved lugs and original leather strap is sure to fit wrists of all sizes, and it’s available in several dial colour variations,” the statement explains, noting that the watch is powered by an automatic movement that will assure reliable service.
Marzooq Al Shamlan & Sons is holding an Aviator Roadshow at Landmark Mall in front of the food court. Aviator is also available at selected Crono Stores. For more information, one can visit www.mssqatar.com
