Qatar University College of Medicine (QU-CMED) held an event in observance of World Anti-Obesity Day and to highlight the importance of diet and lifestyle in maintaining personal health.
The event which was held in collaboration with the Student Activities Department to promote healthy living among the College’s students, faculty and staff. Experts from Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) Nutrition Department and Qatar Diabetes Association (QDA) also participated in the event and offered blood glucose level testing, BMI analysis, as well as personalised nutrition and health advice.
The event also provided college members the opportunity to participate in a number of sports and fitness activities and a healthy recipe competition.
