HE the Chief of State Security Ghanim bin Khalifa al-Kubaisi has received a phone call from Major General Abbas Ibrahim, head of Lebanon’s Directorate of General Security (DGS), in which he expressed his country’s gratitude and appreciation to Qatar for the success of the Qatari mediation in releasing a number of Lebanese servicemen who were captured in Arsal’s outskirts in August 2014 and have been held since then. He also thanked the authorities in Qatar for their rigorous efforts during the period for the soldiers’ release.

Ministry to announce project allocation at draw
The Logistic Committee of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has announced the conclusion of the qualification phase for the project of the logistic areas, south of Qatar.
The public draw for the winning investment allocation requests will be held today at 10am at the MEC headquarters.
All the qualified investors have been invited to attend.
The final number of the qualified investors amounted to 2,994 requests, representing 202% of the number of the offered plots. The committee received allocation cheques amounting to QR1.871bn. The names of the qualified investors for the draw have been published on http://lpa.manateq.com
