Fischer group, a Germany-based innovative solutions company having strong presence in more than 120 countries with its 43 subsidiaries, is marking its 10th anniversary in Qatar, officials announced.
Fischer started their Middle East operations as Fischer FZE and began Qatar operations in 2006. Initially Fischer operated through dealers and started as joint venture operations with Ad Astra in 2013.
Ad Astra, established in early 2007, specialises in supply of MEP and civil related materials to over 200 customers and more than 400 projects. Ad Astra has also diversified into fire-fighting contracting, restaurants and real estate business.
Ad Astra managing director Mohamed Anvar Sadath, director Nabeel Puthilakath and Fischer Qatar sales manager M R Ratheesh Babu and technical manager Khaldoun Bezzahi were present at the press conference.
