HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani held a round of official talks with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Doha yesterday.
During the session, the two sides reviewed co-operation between Qatar and Tartarstan and means to develop them in all spheres, in addition to a range of regional and international issues of common concern.
Following the talks, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the visiting president of Tatarstan and the accompanying delegation.
Separately, HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani also met Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov and the delegation accompanying him yesterday.
The meeting reviewed aspects of co-operation in the economic, commercial and investment fields, and ways of developing them.
HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed bin Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi met Tatarstan’s Education and Science Minister Engel Fattakhov and his accompanying delegation.
Talks dealt with co-operation between Qatar and Tatarstan in the field of education and means of developing it.
Later in the evening, President Minnikhanov left Doha after concluding his visit to Qatar.
Tatarstan’s president and his accompanying delegation were seen off at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Youth and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali and Russian ambassador to Qatar Nurmakhamad Kholov.
