2012-2013 models of Dodge, Jeep vehicles recalled

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has announced a recall of 2012-2013 models of Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee due to a defect in the fuel pump regulator circuit that may hinder its efficient functioning, the official Qatar News Agency has reported.
The recall is being carried out in co-operation with United Cars Almana, the official dealer of Dodge and Jeep vehicles in Qatar.
The campaign falls within the framework of ongoing co-ordination and follow-up by the MEC to ascertain the extent of car dealerships’ commitment to follow up on vehicular defects and repair them to protect consumer rights.

Qatar condoles Azerbaijan fire victims
HH the Emir  Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al–Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al–Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of interior  Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa  al -Thani have sent cables to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan condoling the  victims of the blaze which broke out  on an offshore oil platform in the Caspian Sea.

Bangladesh leader receives envoy’s credentials
President of Bangladesh Mohamed Abdul Hamid yesterday received the credentials of Qatar’s ambassador Ahmed bin Mohamed bin Nasser al-Duhaimi.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to President Hamid, and his wishes of progress and prosperity to the government and people of Bangladesh.
President Hamid reciprocated the Emir’s greetings and wished progress to the Qatari people.

Qatar’s envoy meets head of Pakistan varsity

Qatar’s ambassador to Pakistan Saqr bin Mubarak al-Mansouri has met president of International Islamic University Dr Ahmad Yousif A al-Draiweesh.  
During the meeting, they discussed prospects of strengthening co-operation and issues of common concern.

Real estate trading hits QR1bn in a week

The total value of trading in real estate sales contracts registered with the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice from November 29 to December 3 amounted to QR1,406,064,016.  
The list of properties that were traded by sale includes open plots of land, houses and multi-purpose buildings, which are located in the municipalities of Doha, Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakira, Al Rayyan, Al Daayen, Al Wakrah and Al Shamal.
