HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held separate meetings with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said, at Diriyah Palace here yesterday.
Talks during the meetings, which were held on the sidelines of the 36th summit of the Gulf Co-operation Council, focused on ways of further developing bilateral relations and topics on agenda of the 36th GCC Summit.
The meetings were attended by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Personal Representative of HH the Emir.
The meetings were also attended by members of the accompanying delegations from Kuwait and Oman.
Later yesterday HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani attended a dinner banquent hosted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, at Diriyah Palace in honour of the leaders of the Gulf Co-operation Council on the occasion of the 36th GCC Summit.
The banquet was attended by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani.
It was also attended by Prince Mohamed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, and GCC Secretary General Dr Abdul Latif bin Rashid al-Zayani.
