Ooredoo has announced that its new generation of Ooredoo Self-Service Machines (SSMs) are able to sell prepaid SIM cards and enabled to do QID scanning.
The SSMs allow customers to access and perform a host of features normally available only via an Ooredoo Shop.
The state-of-the-art SSMs, currently available at Hamad International Airport, Katara Cultural Village, Souq Waqif, Ezdan Mall and the Ooredoo Airport Road Shop, enable Qatar residents to instantly register and purchase preloaded Hala SIM cards.
Yousuf al-Kubaisi, chief operating officer, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “With features such as passport scanning and e-signature we are making sure Ooredoo stays ahead of the competition and ensuring our services are as accessible and easy to use as possible.”
More Self-Service Machines will be introduced shortly at strategic spots around Qatar including the Abu Samra border.
In addition to registering for services via the Ooredoo SSMs, customers can also pay Ooredoo Shahry and Kahramaa bills, top-up Hala accounts, and purchase vouchers for a range of shopping and dining experiences for popular brands in Qatar.
