Joris De Loore beat Korea’s Seong Chan Hong in straight sets to pick up the 5th Qatar ITF Futures 2015, which concluded Saturday night at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
The Belgian sixth seed won the match 6-3, 6-2.
With the win on Saturday, De Loore had made it a double at the Qatar tournament having already won the doubles title along with compatriot Michael Greets on Friday.
The Belgian duo beat the British-German pair of Luke Bambridge and Mats Moraing 7-5, 6-3.
Tournament director Saad al-Mohannadi said: “We enjoyed two weeks of intense competition and we are proud to host this high calibre event. A group of elite players came here to compete and to enhance their international ranking. On behalf of QTF, I congratulate all the winners and wish the rest a better result in the 6th event.”
Present at the trophy presentation were al-Mohannadi, assistant Tournament director Sultan Khalfan, Administrative officer Ehab Awad and PR co-ordinator Ahmed Batti.
The 6th Qatar ITF Futures, which began on Saturday, will conclude on December 19.
