HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada opening the exhibition in the presence of Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani and other dignitaries yesterday.
The Made in China exhibition was inaugurated yesterday by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani.
The exhibition, which concludes on Wednesday, aims at introducing high-end industrial products from China in order to enhance bilateral trade and business transactions, in particular regarding products in the fields of infrastructure, construction, building,
electronic and technology.
The dignitaries present at the inauguration at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre included prominent Qatari entrepreneur Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani, Qatar Chamber (QC) chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani, QC acting general manager Saleh al-Sharqi, and the Chinese
ambassador Li Chen.
Dr Al-Sada pointed out that Qatar-China relationships are strong in many aspects, especially on the industrial front. He said that the exhibition is a good opportunity to introduce high quality Chinese industries to the Qatari consumers and businesspersons.
Al-Sharqi said all Qatari investors and businessmen can visit the exhibition and explore the available opportunities with their Chinese counterparts, either to import Chinese products to Qatar or to enter into joint ventures to open factories and plants inside Qatar, or any other form of business.
The exhibition is organised by QC. The Qatar Financial Centre is a silver sponsor among others including Doha Bank. Over 100 reputable Chinese companies have displayed their products.
