In a strategic tie-up with the country’s prominent home appliances retailers Video Home & Electronic Centre, Switzerland-headquartered Forbes Lux, leading manufacturers of healthy living style equipment and accessories, has made a foray into the Qatar market with a range of water purifiers, vacuum cleaners, air purifiers and steam cleaners among others.
Forbes Lux is a joint venture of Eureka Forbes, which is part of Shapoorji Pallonji Group of India and Lux International, the first multi-national direct selling company.
“We are bringing the brand leadership of Eureka Forbes, the direct selling capabilities of Lux International and market leadership of Video Home & Electronic Centre to  give Qatar’s customers a refreshing and healthy lifestyle experience,” Forbes retail division CEO Aslam Karmali said.
The company’s advanced range of water purifiers and home cleaning products are tailored to meet the region’s specific requirements, taking into consideration the ambient features and quality of water available locally, he explained.
“While serving the local community with an array of products, we are also focusing on such essentials of daily life as health, wellness and hygiene.”
Karmali said the money spent on procuring his company’s water purifiers would be much less compared to the amount one incurs on buying bottled water.
Video Home & Electronic Centre director and CEO C V Rappai hoped products from Forbes would be a  hit in Qatar as in the case of many brands marketed by his company in the country.
Video Home & Electronic Centre vice chairman Sajjid Jassim Sulaiman, CEO Rohit Panda, and Forbes regional distributor Better Life (Dubai) CEO Anurag Gongani also spoke. The Forbes range will be marketed in Qatar by Digital Innovation, a division of Video Home & Electronic Centre.
