Milaha held a series of events and activities to celebrate Qatar National Day at its headquarters in Ain Khaled.
The event incorporated a Qatari-themed tent with a majlis that offered visual displays of Qatar’s history, in addition to a booth for fans of falconry.
Milaha’s staff participated in the events as they became more acquainted with the meaning of the National Day and the progress of Qatar throughout history, starting with the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin-Thani.
“Each year, we celebrate this special occasion and remember the everlasting words and deeds of the founder (Sheikh Jassim), who laid the cornerstone for all the prosperity and success we see in Qatar today,” Milaha chairman Sheikh Ali bin Jassim al-Thani said.
“On this day, we celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our country and look forward to participate in the realisation of our country’s long-term goals and vision,” according to Abdulrahman Essa al-Mannai, president and chief executive of Milaha.
Employees enjoyed the henna-painting and oud stations, camel rides and an Ardha performance.
