Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB)’s National Day celebration saw a large number of its employees and their families participating in a wide range of cultural activities and competitions.
The Qatari Ardha dance enthralled the participants who spent the day enjoying the fun and festivity.
QIB also organised a photography competition on Instagram aimed at encouraging aspiring photographers to snap and display pictures depicting their love and appreciation of Qatar.
The Qatar-inspired quotes competition also attracted many employees with the top five walking away with prizes.
Group CEO Bassel Gamal said QIB is proud to see its employees participate in such celebrations, seen as an integral part of the bank’s mission.
“QIB is also the gold sponsor of the Qatar National Day celebrations across the country. Encouraging our employees to partake in such events is yet another testament to our commitment towards our beloved nation,” he added.
Gamal said Qatar National Day is an occasion that is close to their hearts, an event celebrated by all employees of QIB.
He noted that Qatar National Day is also part of their effort to promote interaction with the community by actively participating in events and initiatives that serve the local community. “Thus, reaffirming the leading role we play as part of our national contribution.”
Gamal also congratulated HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani for Qatar’s continued success and progress.
