Shangri-La Hotel Doha accepting bookings

Shangri-La Hotel Doha will be accepting reservations for bookings at the 50-storey five-star hotel from today. It will offer a promotional opening rate starting from QR895 net per room and per night.

Guests will also enjoy buffet breakfast, daily afternoon tea and evening cocktails with drinks and canapés served between 5.30 and 7.30pm and other benefits.
Developed by Al Rayan Tourism Development Company (Artic) WLL, Shangri-La Hotel Doha is located at West Bay district, the capital’s modern business hub.
The hotel’s accommodation and lifestyle amenities are complemented by hospitality from the heart with a blend of Asian and Qatari traditions. Its 272 rooms and suites range in size from 46 to 288sqm and feature a contemporary yet elegant design with views of the cosmopolitan city or the glistening
Arabian Gulf.
In addition, the hotel offers 42 fully serviced and stylishly furnished apartments, a first in the city.
“The Shangri-La brand is widely recognised in the hospitality sector as a benchmark for quality and we are delighted to be bringing Shangri-La’s levels of luxury and service to Doha,” said Artic vice chairman HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Faisal al-Thani.
“As Qatar’s tourism infrastructure continues to develop through the construction of new hotels, resorts and other tourism facilities, he noted that Artic will play a key role in this growth by expanding our local portfolio with high quality assets and by partnering with well-known.
True to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ philosophy of creating a sense of place in each of its destinations, the hotel honours the rich heritage of the Qatari peninsula while preserving its signature Asian charm.
In a nod to one of Qatar’s proud traditions, the building is designed to resemble a falcon’s head, an element echoed by the falcon that welcomes guests at the main entrance.
“The opening of Shangri-La Hotel, Doha reconfirms our commitment to expansion in the Middle East,” said Coen Masselink, the hotel’s general manager. “We are delighted to be in Doha in a prime
location with such dedicated owners.”
The hotel houses a total of seven food and beverage outlets, including a Chinese restaurant and club/lounge on levels 43 and 44.
