Traffic diversion in Duhail

Works will be carried out on the existing traffic diversion on Leabaib Roundabout (the Radar roundabout previously) near Woqod Petrol Station in Al Duhail area (as shown in the map) between December 23 (Wednesday) and January 2 (Saturday).
During the period, the southbound traffic from the Arab League Street (from Jaraiyan Njaima Roundabout near the North Atlantic College) towards Leabaib Roundabout will be diverted right to Al Tarfa Street.
The northward traffic heading from Al Tarfa Street towards Leabaib Roundabout will be diverted right to the signal-controlled junction on Arab League Street on the north side of Leabaib Roundabout.
The diversion aims to allow for the completion of the required works to convert Leabaib Roundabout to a signal-controlled intersection.
The works include connecting the entrances and exits of the new signal-controlled intersection with the existing roads in order to operate the intersection at the beginning of next month, as part of the project to develop the roads surrounding Al Duhail military camp.
