Nominations are open for the third Oryx GTL Student Awards 2016 until January 25, 2016, the organisers have announced.
The awards recognise outstanding individuals and future thought leaders who are instrumental in the transformation of Qatar into a knowledge economy in line with its National Vision 2030, according to a statement. It celebrates recently-graduated Masters and PhD candidates along with their dissertation advisers and highlights the importance of building postgraduate education capacity, especially for Qatar’s emerging R&D in energy-related fields. The deadline for nominations is January 25, 2016.
The selection committee will review the submissions on January 28 and the winners will be contacted on February 7.
