The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested an Arab national on charges of stealing two cars. The man had stolen a Porsche and a KIA from two different localities in the country.
After the complaints were received, personnel of the departments concerned swung into action and nabbed the culprit within hours from Al Khor on Friday (December 25, 2015), a statement issued by the Public Relations department of the Ministry of Interior said.
"During interrogation, he confessed to stealing the two cars and the security personnel recovered the car keys from him."
The case has been forwarded to the department concerned for further legal procedures.
The security departments have urged the public to keep their belongings safe so that criminals would not be able to lay their hands on them.
