Ooredoo’s self-service machines to accept Eid Charity donations

Ooredoo and the Sheikh Eid Bin Mohamed Al-Thani Charitable Association (Eid Charity) have announced a partnership to enable donations to the charity via Ooredoo’s nationwide self-service machine (SSM) network.
The agreement, which was signed by Ooredoo chief sales & services officer Ahmad Abdulaziz al-Neama and Eid Charity executive manager of resources development & media Nawaf bin Abdullah al-Hammadi at a ceremony in Ooredoo’s HQ1, outlined the partnership to allow Ooredoo SSM users to donate in a “smart and effective manner”, according to a statement.
With over 200 SSMs spread across the country, donations to Eid Charity can soon be easily made through them by cash or credit/debit card, 24/7, the statement adds.
Donations can be made towards a host of initiatives supporting human relief, medical projects, Holy Qur’an services, development projects, water well drilling, orphan sponsorship and more.
“Ooredoo has a long history of supporting and working with Eid Charity and we’re proud to now be able to facilitate, in such a vital way, for Qatar’s people to help,” al-Neama said.
“We are delighted to be associated with Ooredoo and aim to bring about a positive social change in Qatar, for Qatar’s people,” al-Hammadi noted.
This is the latest in a series of upgrades on Ooredoo’s network of SSMs.
In addition to donating via the Ooredoo SSMs, customers can also pay Ooredoo Shahry and Kahramaa bills, top up Hala accounts and purchase vouchers for a range of shopping and dining experiences in Qatar.
