Commercial Bank recently hosted an event for Qatari students from the “Qatari Centre of Social Cultural for the Deaf”, to discuss opportunities to advance their academic and professional development.
In a ceremony at Commercial Bank Plaza delivered by the bank’s National Development Team, the deaf students and their accompanying teachers were presented with information on how the bank can support Qatari students through university, including the payment of tuition fees and a monthly salary to obtain a bachelors degree in any business-related field.
Attending students were encouraged to join the sponsorship programme and they met with Commercial Bank employees from diverse backgrounds, who shared their personal experiences and gave words of encouragement and inspiration.
