Poor visibility is expected in some parts of the country early today due to fog, the Qatar Met department has said.
The visibility may drop to 2km or less in these places, according to the weather report.
The forecast for inshore areas says hazy to misty/foggy conditions are expected in certain areas at first. Moderate temperatures are likely later in the day.
Offshore areas will remain partly cloudy during the day and the wind speed may go up to 18 knots in some places at times.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in the country are expected to be 13C and 23C, respectively, with the forecast for Doha being 16C the 23C.

EX models recalled
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has announced a recall of 2009-10 Mitsubishi Lancer EX models over a potential defect in the electronic control of the headlamps.
The recall is being carried out in collaboration with Qatar Automobiles Company.
The campaign falls within the framework of the MEC’s ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry has said it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
Afghan education
minister arrives
Minister of Education of Afghanistan Asad Hanif Balkhi arrived in Doha yesterday.
He was welcomed at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi who is also Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council, and Charge d’Affaires at Afghanistan embassy in Doha Mohamed Qasim Himmat.
The Afghan minister is expected to discuss educational relations with several officials and visit schools and other educational institutions.
An agreement in the field of education between Qatar and Afghanistan will also be signed during the visit.
