Retail chain Home Centre has announced the launch of its latest collection inspired by the Star Wars movie series.
This coincides with the release of the film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with Home Centre deciding to “bring home the Force” by collaborating with Disney to launch the collection, according to a statement.
In line with the theme of the movie series, the products have been styled based on the “light side” and “dark side”, bringing the iconic characters to life through a collection that includes innovative products such as the Darth Vader touch table lamp, the stormtrooper-shaped rug, Star Wars posters featuring classic quotes, a Yoda-shaped clock and more, the statement notes.
Médéric Payne, CEO of Home Centre, said: “This initiative is a first for us and we are thrilled to be collaborating with Disney to offer exclusively curated products. Star Wars has a huge fan following in the Middle East and we are sure this product range will find takers among people of all ages. This meticulously crafted collection reiterates our commitment to consistently innovate and offer signature choices to our customers.”
Home Centre stores will have activities for customers and, additionally, its social media platforms will carry out contests for customers wherein they will get a chance to win Star Wars goodies.
Star Wars merchandise is available at all Home Centre stores. The entire range can also be found online at www.homecentrestores.com
