Temporary closures on the exit leading from Jeryan Jenaihat area to Al Shamal Road (North-bound) and on the existing northbound exit of roundabout on Al Kheesa Road (located east of Al Kheesa Interchange) will be in place for six months starting from Thursday, according to an Ashghal announcement.
During the period, the traffic heading from Jeryan Jenaihat area (Zone 70) to Al Shamal Road will be diverted to a newly constructed single-lane dual carriageway section to the roundabout located north of Al Kheesa petrol station.
The traffic heading to Al Kheesa petrol station will have to continue on the road parallel to Al Shamal Road, then turn right about 200 metres north of Al Kheesa Interchange (N10) (as shown in the map).
The closure is required to carry out construction works of a bridge and proposed service roads which form part of the North Road enhancement project.
