Doha Bank announces Al Dana Savings Scheme draw winners

Doha Bank has announced the winners of the 11th draw for its Al Dana Savings Scheme.
The draw was held at the bank’s City Center branch in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (Consumer Protection).
The Al Dana 2015 campaign has seen a greater number of customers walk away with prizes than before, the bank has said in a statement.
A S al-Kuwari was named the winner of the QR100,000 monthly premium draw for customers maintaining a minimum balance of QR250,000. Two Al Dana customers –A A M al-Saadi and S H Ali – won
QR 50,000 each, with another two customers receiving QR25,000 each. The QR1,000,000 grand cash prize went to H V Valappil.
The 11th draw threw up other winners as well, with five Al Dana customers receiving QR10,000 each and 12 customers getting QR5,000 each. A further 20 winners, including 10 new account holders and 10 Al Dana Young Savers, received a iPhone 6 smartphone each.
Doha Bank has also announced that it will cap off its 2015 Al Dana campaign with a grand draw to be held during the Al Dana Green Run on January 16.
Dr R Seetharaman, Group CEO of Doha Bank, said: “The enlarged prize pool that we introduced for our 2015 campaign has ensured that there are more Al Dana winners.
“Join us for the 11th Al Dana Green Run on January 16 at Aspire Zone and witness the last live draw for the Al Dana 2015 scheme, which will crown one QR1mn winner and 43 other winners of valuable cash prizes ranging from QR5,000 to QR100,000.”
Doha Bank’s Al Dana savings account offers customers a wide range of banking benefits, including a free VISA international debit card and online, SMS, mobile and new Apple Watch banking services. In addition, customers can manage their utility bill payments through their Al Dana account and transfer funds across multiple accounts and to third parties, as well as send money overseas, the statement notes.
