The 1st International Exhibition for Support Services and Business Solutions (QBX-Expo 2016) will be held at the Doha Exhibitions and Conventions Centre (DECC) between January 10 and 12.
The event, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, is considered a major source of information about trade and investment entities, distinctive solutions, support services and investment requirements in Qatar.
The expo would help people actively participate in the country’s economic growth in coming years, said general manager of Sedeer Media Ahmed al-Nuaimi. Sedeer Media are the organisers of the three-day expo, which is licensed by the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA).
Al-Nuami said some of the well established and sophisticated international companies specialised in support services and business solutions are participating in the exhibition.
The expo, said al-Nuami, will help one understand the actual needs and requirements of the Qatari market. He hoped no less than 10,000 visitors would flock to the venue in three days.
Also speaking Sedeer Media executive manager Wael Moini said the ultimate goal of the expo is to contribute continuously to the building of a growing Qatar.
Specialists and their companies from such destinations as the UAE, Canada, US, UK and USA are among those expected, besides a number of local entities.
Companies expected include Linkedln, PWS, Bayt.com, BlackBerry, Media NX Pty Ltd, Ooreedo Qatar, BPO Plus WLL, CyberCom, Qatar Green Building Council and Care n Cure.
