For the second year running, Nissan Middle East and Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Company, the Japanese auto major’s exclusive dealer in Qatar, are both involved in bringing back The Colour Run - presented by Your Health First in Qatar.
The fun-filled 5km fun run, dubbed the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”, will be held tomorrow at Qatar National Convention Centre.
Helping make the fun run possible, Nissan has provided the official vehicle for The Colour Run in Qatar – showcasing the compact SUV Nissan Juke.
The un-timed fun run will see the participants doused from head to toe in different coloured powder at each kilometre. The run is followed by a colour festival where runners can create countless colour combinations with a variety of coloured powders. There are only two rules – wear white at the start line and finish plastered in colour.
Fadi Ghosn, chief marketing officer of Nissan Middle East, said: “Following the great success of the event last year, we decided to extend our sponsorship to this year’s edition of The Colour Run. At Nissan, we believe that motoring should be fun and exciting, not just getting from A to B. That’s certainly what the Nissan Juke is all about and why we believe The Colour Run is the perfect event to support.”
Declan McClusky, general manager (automotive), Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Company, said: “We are proud to be involved with Nissan in showcasing such an exciting event in Qatar. Last year’s event was a great success and we look forward to seeing even more participants this year. The sponsorship of the fun run bears further testimony to our commitment to our market.”
