Nine-time world rally champion Loeb continued to make light work of his Dakar debut by claiming his third stage win. The French driver extended his lead in the overall standings. Loeb won the 327km timed run in 3hr 32min 34sec with Peugeot teammates Carlos Sainz and Stephane Peterhansel completing a sweep for the French manufacturer. Qatar’s Nasser Saleh al-Attiyah finished fourth in yesterday’s stage to stay fourth overall. Australian Toby Price won in the motorcycle category even as Paulo Goncalves has the lead overall. (AFP)
