Mohamed al-Rumaihi (above centre) and Bana Haji (R) won the trap titles in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively, at the Qatar Cup shooting at the Losail Ranges yesterday. Rumaihi edged out Rashid Hamad al-Athba in shoot-off by one target after both were tied at 13 each in the gold medal match. Mohamed Dablan bagged the bronze medal after his 12-9 victory over Masoud Ali al-Athba. Bana Haji beat Amna al-Abdulla 12-10 to bag the women’s title. Meitha al Binali came third. Angelo Scalzone and Badria al Binali won the junior crowns.
