HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah has met with the general co-ordinator for Syrian Opposition’s Negotiations Committee, Riyad Hijab.
They discussed the deterioration of humanitarian conditions in Syria, particularly in Al-Zabadani and Bloudan which is under siege by the Syrian regime’s forces.
Qatar’s permanent envoy to the UN, Sheikha Alia bint Ahmed bin Saif al-Thani attended the meeting.
Over 1,000 CRs issued in December
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has issued 1,043 new commercial registrations in December last year and cancelled 206 ones.
The new commercial registrations included 727 new registrations, representing 70% of the total number of the new registrations, while the cancelled registrations included 67 main registrations, representing 33% of the total number of the cancelled registrations during December.
The companies of limited liabilities covered 367 main new registrations and 141 sub-registrations. The single person companies covered 272 main registrations and 153 sub-registrations. Corporate companies covered 74 main registrations and 18 sub-registrations.
The most economically active registrations during December were the contracting companies (28%), the building materials retailers (10%), eateries, and vegetable and fruits shops (6%), detergents’ companies (6%) and groceries (4%).
