Emir receives Kuwait’s first deputy premier

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday met with  Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, at Al Bahr Palace.
Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled was in Doha to attend the fourth session of the Qatari-Kuwaiti supreme joint co-operation committee.
The Emir and the Kuwaiti minister  reviewed the “strong brotherly ties between the two countries and ways to  enhance them on all fronts in addition to exchanging views on a set of issues of common concern”, the official Qatar News Agency (QNA) said.
Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled conveyed Kuwait Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah’s greetings and wishes of health and happiness to Sheikh Tamim and further wishes of development and prosperity to the Qatari people, QNA said.  
In turn, Sheikh Tamim entrusted the  first deputy prime minister with his greetings and wishes of health and wellbeing to the Kuwait Emir and further wishes of progress and growth to the  Kuwaiti people.
The fourth session of the joint high-level co-operation committee between Qatar and Kuwait was held later yesterday in Doha. The session was co-chaired by HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah and Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled. Page 2
