The Foreign Ministry stressed Qatar’s solidarity and sympathy with Germany following the blast that hit the Sultanahmet district in the Turkish city of Istanbul killing and wounding a number of German tourists.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Foreign Ministry expressed Qatar’s condolences to the German government as well as its people and families of the victims of that heinous crime.
The statement voiced Qatar’s trust and support for efforts of the Turkish authorities to preserve security and stability in the country, reiterating Qatar’s firm stance in rejection of violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever the motives and causes.
