Rashid Saleh al-Atbha and Deena al-Tobaishi won the men’s and women’s skeet titles, respectively of the Qatar Cup Shooting Championship at the Losail Shooting Complex yesterday.
Rashid Saleh defeated Ali Ahmed al-Ishaq by 14-12 to emerge the men’s champion, while Al-Tobaish defeated Hajar Mohamed in the shoot off 5-3 to win the women’s gold.
Saeed Hamad Abusharib defeated and Masoud Hamad al-Athba in a tie-breaker 4-2 to win the bronze. Hannan Haji claimed the bronze medal as she defeated Hajar Mohamed 11-8.
Mubarak Ahmad al-Kuwari defeated Ali al -Muhannadi to win the men’s junior skeet title. The third place was bagged by Ali Khalid al-Attiyah. In the women’s junior section Lolwa al-Mullah and Sarah Mohammed finished as the winner and the runners-up.
