Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC) hosted the annual employee appreciation and recognition ceremony.
The event brought together QPMC’s staff and workers from departments for washed sand plants, projects management, logistic yards and supply chain.
QPMC chief executive officer Eisa al-Hammadi and director of administration Dr Latifa al-Darwish addressed the event.
Speaking on the occasion, al-Hammadi stated that the past years “have been a time of major accomplishments, a plateau achieved by the mutual integrity and loyalty between QPMC, its staff and workers.
“This achievement is due to the dedication and hard work of our employees; the essence of QPMC’s reputation and pride.”
He also emphasised on the significance of teamwork, and described it as the prime tool that ensures any company’s operational and business success.
“Team spirit leads to the harmony and integration of roles necessary in carrying out strategic projects, as well as achieving company objectives.”
Dr al-Darwish pointed out that “motivation and honouring employees have become key characteristics of QPMC and a cherished tradition which reaffirms QPMC’s milestones.”
“Indications of QPMC’s successes are evident, and efforts of doing so will constantly be valued by the company’s management in efforts to spread our values and maximise our
performance.”
Employee Service Awards were handed out to the attendees. The event also featured an open discussion between employees and the management.
