The exit ramp ‘A’ leading from Al Shamal Road to Al Kheesa Road, will be closed for at least six months starting from Wednesday.
Another closure will also be implemented on Dohat Um al Maa Street (two-way section) between Wadi Asma Street and Al Kheesa Roundabout East of Al Kheesa Interchange (N10) and traffic will be diverted to the road parallel to Al Shamal Road and Wadi Al Asma Street.
Traffic heading from Al Ebb area towards Al Kheesa will be diverted to Wadi Asma Street, then Wadi Al Ebb Street, and later onto Al Kheesa Street.
Vehicles heading from Al Shamal Road to Al Kheesa, Jeryan Jenaihat, and Al Kharaitiyat areas will be diverted to the road parallel to Al Shamal Road. They should use loop ‘B’ on Al Kheesa Interchange leading to Al Kharaitiyat Area or continue driving until they reach a right-hand turn leading them onto an existing single-carriageway diversion with one traffic lane for each direction.
The diversion is required to carry out improvement works on Al Kheesa Interchange (N10) as part of the North Road enhancement project.
