A partial closure will come into effect from today evening on Street 1 of Doha’s Industrial Area for six months. One lane in each direction will be closed while another lane will remain open for a period of six months. The access roads to local and residential areas will remain open. The closure is part of the construction works to develop Doha’s Industrial Area, which aims to increase the capacity of the roads and support the traffic flow, in addition to providing the area with a superior infrastructure.
