HE the Minister of Energy and Industry, Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, yesterday visited the Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College (JBJJCSC) in Wakrah.
He gave a lecture to the student officers participating in the third course on Joint Command and Staff on the subject ‘The Most Important Challenges Facing Energy, Oil and Gas Industry Security.’
The lecture dealt with the history of oil and gas and energy industry in the Middle East, the Gulf Arab states and Qatar along with energy security and the oil and gas industry in the region and the world and the challenges it faces.
The lecture also touched on how to meet the challenges of piracy and e-security, in addition to the initiatives of Qatar in the field of energy, oil and gas security and future directions for the diversification of energy sources in Qatar.
