HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari met yesterday with his Chinese counterpart Luo Shugang.
They discussed bilateral co-operation in the field of culture and the means to enhance it, in light of the agreement they signed last year. They also agreed on the events that will be held as part of the Qatar-China cultural year in 2016.
The Qatar-China 2016 year of culture is the latest in a series of cultural events that began in 2012 with the Qatar-Japan year of culture. It was followed by events with the UK, Brazil and Turkey. Page 28
